CA' SALVATORE
BED AND BREAKFAST AND VACATION HOME IN THE MARCHE
Ca' Salvatore is nestled at the end of a winding, gravel road in the green interior of the Marche, between Tuscany and Umbria. It is a small hamlet comprised of two ancient farmhouses, Ca' Salvatore and Ca' Rosellina.
Few tourists have discovered this region of Italy, and as you explore this area you will find natural and cultural treasures, and old traditions that continue, intact, to the present day. Ca' Salvatore lies in the hill country between the towns of Urbania, formerly known as Casteldurante, and Sant' Angelo in Vado, the Roman Tifernum Metaurese. You will find simple but delicious local cooking, and numerous outdoor activities that you can do on foot, horseback or mountain bike. The Metauro River, which has carved out a valley of the same name, offers you shaded bends and pools where you can swim during the hot summer days. Only twenty-five minutes away by car from Ca' Salvatore, you can wander through the enchanting, cobbled lanes of Urbino, which has been declared a world heritage site by UNESCO. Ca' Salvatore's location is ideal in that you are only one hour from the Umbrian city of Perugia, the fascinating city of Arezzo in Tuscany and the Adriatic coast.
